Kroger- Wednesday, October 28

So first I stopped at Brookshire's, but they didn't triple my coupon, so I just left. Gracie, maybe their policy has changed or something. I have not had this trouble until today at Brookshire's.

So here's my kroger trip! I will probably go again soon because we want to make pumpkin pie and there are some great deals to be had!

*2 Carnation Evaporated Milk, on sale for $1.49 each, used $0.50/2 coupon that doubled

1 Nyquil, manager's special for $3.39, used $1.00 coupon
*1 Dark Chocolate Chex Mix, on sale for $1.49, used $0.50 coupon that doubled, $0.50 e-coupon
*1 Cheese-it, on sale for $1.79, used $0.75 coupon

*** buy 10 items, get $5.00 off*** (I bought 20 items, so $10 off)

Brookshire's and Kroger - October 21

Before I recap today's trips, I wanted to mention a trip to Brookshire's on Monday. I went in for 1 Betty Crocker Warm Delight that was on sale for $1.50. I used a $0.50 coupon that tripled. My total was $0.04, but then I brought my own bag, so they took $0.05 off, paying me a penny! Yeah, they handed me a penny! Total savings 103%!

Apparently, today was meat day at Brookshire's:


4 1.2lb packages of ground turkey, on sale B1G1 for a penny
2 Butterball Turkey Bacon, on sale B1G1 for a penny, used a $0.55 coupon that tripled and a $1.00 coupon (paid $0.35 for both packages!!)
2 Jimmy Dean Sausages, on sale B1G1 for a penny

Total before sales/coupons: $26.24
Total spent: $10.87
Total saved: $15.37 (60%)

Kroger was a little difficult, but we still managed to save a lot!

Total: $2.14 (saved $1.20)

Total for the day: spent $37.84, saved 60%, so overall a pretty good day!

Total actually saved (when I get my check and rebate): $48.23 (73%)

And now I am ready for cold season!

Also, I will get a $5 gift card to Rite Aid for spending $25-$50. I might go buy something inexpensive this week because if you spent more than $50, it goes up to a $10 gift card. We spent $49.09 (it is totaled before coupons).

1 gallon milk, and it has gone up!! I paid $3.25 wow!
6 Yoplait yogurts, $0.50/6 coupon that doubled, $0.50 e-coupon
1 dozen eggs
2 Hawaiian Rolls, on manager's special for $0.49

Total before: $25.59
Total spent: $12.93
Total saved: $12.66 (50%)

The crescent rolls rang up more than they were supposed to and I didn't notice until just now. Oh well.

I also got a $2 off your next order for buying 4 Pillsbury products. That should come in handy next week.
